Abstract [sv]

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka möjligheterna och effekterna av att implementera en PLC i högspänningsbrytarens manöverdon samt att ta fram en lämplig PLC för implementeringen.

Resultatet blev en stor mängd reducerad kabeldragning vilket i sin tur resulterar i kostnadsbesparingar direkt och indirekt samt att variantfloran reduceras.

Konceptet som valdes är en robust modulär PLC som klarar av mycket extrema förhållanden.

Mängden kablar reduceras pga. de utökade kommunikationsmöjligheterna som PLC:er är utrustade med för snabb dataöverföring.

En högspänningsbrytare appliceras i mycket varierande och extrema förhållanden vilket leder till höga krav på komponenterna som placeras inne i manöverdonet.

Via en marknadsanalys samlades olika koncept in som sedan fördes in i en konceptvalsmatris där koncepten viktades mot varandra för att hitta det bästa konceptet.

Abstract [en]

The purpose of this study was to investigate the possibility and effects of implementing a PLC in a high-voltage circuit breaker and to find an appropriate PLC for the implementation.

The result was a large amount of reduced wiring, which in turn results in cost savings directly and indirectly, and that the product range is reduced.

The concept chosen is a robust modular PLC that can handle very extreme conditions.

The amount of cables is reduced because of the increased communication capabilities that PLCs are equipped with for fast data transfer.

A high voltage circuit breaker is applied in very variable and extreme conditions, resulting in high demands on the components placed inside the operating mechanism.

Through a market analysis, different concepts were collected, which were then brought into a concept selection matrix where the concepts were weighted against each other to find the best concept.
