This study aims to contribute knowledge about music and its impact on learning
English as a foreign language. The findings in this study are based on published
scientific articles written by seven different researchers from various parts of the
world. The method used in creating this study is a qualitative method based on text
analysis. The findings and results of these articles clearly demonstrate that using
music as an aid in the classroom can help students on their way to learning English
as a foreign language. Therefore this study may be of help to both students as well
as teachers in order for them to take the leap of including music in the process of
teaching and learning, and by doing so reaching the goals that are stated in the
curriculum.
