Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

This thesis describes the development work of a tight enclosure of electronics for a charger. The development work is based on exchanging the technology for joints to increase the possibility of recycling the plastic. In the development work, methods and theories have been applied to create ideas, convert them into concepts that meet the customer's requirements, then print them out in a 3D printer. These prototypes are then analysed through simple assembly and disassembly tests but also simpler water resistance tests. To generate ideas around the problem, the TIPS method was used then brought throughout the development work. The ideas got converted into prototypes using methods such as customer requirements identification, pairwise comparison, product characteristics generation, target value as guidelines, QFD House of Quality, concept generation. To be print out in a 3D printer, the concepts needed to be drawn in the CAD program Solidworks. When the prototypes were printed, the analysis showed that two of the concepts showed potential and recommends further development work.
