The goal of the study was to find out more about the climate change awareness of skiers/snowboarders visiting Sälen for the purpose of skiing or snowboarding. Additionally, the differences between young and old skiers/ snowboarders and their climate change awareness have been explored. The primary research was carried out with the use of secondary data. The secondary data centered on climate change and the skiing industry, with a particular focus on Sweden's skiing sector and its climate change challenges. In addition, the topic of climate change awareness and specifically the difference in Climate change awareness among different age groups was examined. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. The descriptive data were utilized to reflect the respondents´level of awareness. Overall, the respondents were aware of the changing climate, according to the data. The inferential statistics revealed that there were some disparities in agreement with specific assertions about climate change between older and younger age groups. Thus, the study was successful in filling a research gap in climate change awareness among skiers and snowboarders. This study can also be used to determine whether climate change awareness has an impact on behavior change.
