Bakgrund: Ineffektiv och bristande kommunikation är den främsta faktorn som bidrar till vårdskada. SBAR, situation, bakgrund, aktuell bedömning och rekommendation är en välbeprövad kommunikationsmodell. Sjuksköterskan såsom resterande vårdpersonal har som plikt och ansvar att bidra med patientsäkert och säker vårdmiljö. SBAR är verktyget som underlättar deras uppgifter betydligt mycket.Syftet: Syftet med studien är att beskriva sjuksköterskans upplevelse av att använda SBAR-modellenMetod: En litteraturstudie utförd av författarna baserad på 15 vetenskapliga artiklar. sökningen av artiklarna utfördes med hjälp av databaserna PubMed, Cinahl och Google Scholar.Resultat: Implementering av SBAR har bidragit till följande konsekvenser eller effekt utifrån en sjuksköterskas synpunkt: Bättre insamling av patientrelaterad information, filtrering, organisering och förståelse av informationen. Bättre kommunikation och överföring av relevant patientrelaterad information till andra yrkesgrupper. Mer patientsäker vård utan felaktiga uppgifter. Bättre relation mellan olika yrkesgrupper främst sjuksköterskan och läkaren.Slutsats: Resultatet visade hur SBAR-modellen har efter implementering påvisat förbättring i kommunikationsförmågan samt effektivitet vid överföring av information. Detta har bidragit till bättre förståelse och patientsäker vård. utifrån detta kan författarna med god förtroende dra slutsatsen att SBAR-modellen är ett bra redskap att använda sig av inom vården.

Background: Inefficient and lack of communication is the main factor contributing to healthcare injury. SBAR, situation, background, current assessment and recommendation is a well-proven communication model. The nurse, as the remaining care staff, has a duty and responsibility to contribute with patient-safe and environmentally safe care. SBAR is the tool that makes their tasks much easier.Aim: The aim of the study is to describe the nurses experience of using the SBAR model.Methods: A literature study conducted by the authors based on 15 scientific articles. The search for the articles was performed using the databases PubMed, Cinahl and Google Scholar.Results: Implementation of SBAR has contributed to the following consequences or effects from a nurse's point of view: Better collection of patient-related information, filtering, organization and understanding of the information. Better communication and transfer of relevant patient-related information to other professions. More patient-safe care without incorrect information. Better relationship between different professional groups, mainly the nurse and the doctor.Conclusions: The results showed how the SBAR model has after implementation shown improvement in communication ability and efficiency in the transmission of information. This has contributed to better understanding and patient-safe care. Based on this, the authors can conclude with good confidence that the SBAR model is a good tool to use in healthcare.
