The purpose is thus not to urge the reader to change his or her life, rather it is a wish for the reader to discover who he or she is, and to realise who we as humans are in this world. The selected scholars represent ethical sensitivity and critical awareness, and think beyond human interference with the more-than-human world, and are courageous enough to use their imagination and intuition in academia. This text, which is more or less a short review of previous academic texts, and which I call dialogue, is accompanied by seven images. The text ends with a concluding reflection.
