Professionals’ experiences of success factors and challenges of a collaborative team : A qualitative study (English)
Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

To examine collaboration in social work is relevant in modern welfare society since it has become an important part of coordination between different authorities. In addition, due to the promotion of a holistic view and more effective interventions in the rehabilitation process, collaboration is also considered important for individuals and their needs. The purpose of this study was to examine how representatives from Region and municipality experience challenges and success factors that may arise in collaboration between professionals actors connected to a collaboration team, which was done through qualitative interviews. The cooperation team consists of the Region, the municipality, the employment service and the insurance fund in order to rehabilitate people to work or study. For a deeper understanding of the results, wehighlight them in a systems theoretical and solution-focused perspective. Examples of challenges concerning collaboration that emerged in the results include unclear professional roles and poorly located premises whereas good communication is an example of a success factor in collaboration.
