    Detta är en systematisk litteraturstudie vars syfte är att ta reda på hur estetiska

    lärprocesser kan användas för att främja elevers kunskaper och intressen i de

    naturvetenskapliga ämnena och vilka fördelar respektive nackdelar de praktiskestetiska

    arbetssätten kan medföra för elever i årskurs f-6. Litteraturen i studien är

    internationell och framtagen genom sökningar i databaserna Summon och ERIC

    (Ebsco), samt genom manuell sökning av referenslistor. Resultatet visar att

    tillsammans med estetiska uttryck såsom drama och bild kan elevers intresse och

    motivation öka för naturvetenskapliga ämnen i skolan. Studien redovisar också

    paralleller mellan de processer som sker i bland annat drama och de processer som

    sker i naturvetenskaplig forskning. Studien visar också att vidare forskning krävs för

    att fastställa hur elevers kunskap kan öka med hjälp av estetiska och kreativa

    processer.

    Abstract [en]

    Aim: The aim of this study is to analyze why consumers follow retail companies on social media i.e. which consumer motives are the most common.

    Method: The study has conducted a deductive approach and a quantitative method for both data collection and analyzes.

    Findings: The findings show that the most frequent consumer motives for following retail companies on social media are to "find discount codes / offers", "find information about the company and its products", "find news and information about product launches" and "get inspiration from what companies posts online”. No significant differences in motives could be found between different sectors or demographic variables among consumers. The four mentioned motives above were the most common ones among the respondents regardless of gender, age or company sector.

    Suggestions for further research: proposals for further research could be to perform a qualitative study with the same purpose and research questions as this one. That could contribute to the gain of deeper information and knowledge in this area and could be a complement to the results from this study.

    Idag är förstelärarreformen relativt ny eftersom den genomfördes höstterminen 2013, vilket är för ganska exakt två år sedan när den här uppsatsen skrivs. Införandet av förstelärarreformen har, i mina ögon, bidragit till att skapa ännu mer debatt kring skolan samtidigt som den kanske var ett försök till att försöka höja den svenska skolans status. Syftet med undersökningen är att undersöka lärares och förstelärares uppfattningar om vad förstelärarreformen har inneburit för lärarna och verksamheten på en skola. Metoden som används är triangulering med utgångspunkt i en enkät och med intervjuer som komplement till denna. Till lärarna på skolan delades en enkät ut och intervjuer genomfördes med sex förstelärare. Resultatet visar att följande egenskaper anses som viktiga hos en skicklig lärare: pedagogisk skicklighet, goda ämneskunskaper, engagerad och social kompetens. Det visar även att de flesta lärare bara delvis ansåg att de hade fått information om hur man ansökte till förstelärare samt vad som krävdes för att ansöka. Vidare ansåg lärarna att förstelärarnas uppdrag bara delvis synliggörs i verksamheten, vilket kan förklaras genom att de flesta förstelärarna under intervjuerna berättade att de redan arbetat med sina försteläraruppdrag innan de blev förstelärare.

    Syftet med denna studie är att belysa några pedagogers resonemang kring begreppen lek och lärande samt synliggöra hur pedagogerna talar och agerar i praktiken, för att se om några spår av resonemangen framträder i verksamheten. De frågeställningar som fördjupar studiens syfte är: Hur resonerar pedagoger kring begreppen lek och lärande? Vad anser pedagogerna vara viktigt för barns lärande? Samt, kan spår av pedagogernas resonemang ses i verksamheten och i så fall hur?

    Tre pedagoger arbetande på samma grundskola, men i olika förskoleklasser, både intervjuas och observeras i studien. Intervjuerna behandlar pedagogernas syn på begreppen lek och lärande och observationerna utgår sedan ifrån en sammanställning av de intervjuades svar. I studiens resultat kan konstateras att det finns en samstämmighet mellan pedagogernas resonemang om lek och lärande och deras agerande. Pedagogerna ger uttryck för ett lärande som sker hela tiden, där lek och lärande går hand i hand, vilket också kan iakttas vid observationerna. Vardagliga situationer som leder till lek poängteras både i intervjuer och synliggörs genom pedagogernas ageranden i observationer, vilket utgör en stor del av tillämpandet av lek och lärande i förskoleklassen. En slutsats av studien är att det i förskoleklassens verksamhet är möjligt att tillämpa ett lustfyllt lärande genom leken, vilket pedagogerna ger uttryck för både i resonemang och handling.

    Analys av studiens resultat grundas på ett sociokulturellt perspektiv, som ger ytterligare infallsvinklar på begreppet lärande. En av slutsatserna utifrån ett sociokulturellt perspektiv kan tolkas som att lek och lärande är nära förknippade i pedagogernas handlande i verksamheten, men att lek och lärande ges skilda innebörder i verbalt uttryck till barnen. Pedagogerna fokuserar medvetet på olika typer av lärande i olika aktiviteter, vilket kan ses genom studiens observationer. Inför barnen sker dock ingen tydlig återkoppling till lärandet, och därför förs inte kunskapen om vilket lärande som är aktuellt i aktiviteterna och i leken vidare till barnen i verbalt uttryck. Det framkommer genom intervju att pedagogerna även upplever att barnen gör skillnad på begreppen lek och lärande.

    Abstract [en]

    Social media have for a long time been perceived as irrelevant as a marketing tool in industrial markets. One reason is the perception that customers are not available on social media, and therefore there is no reason for industrial companies to market through these channels. The growth of the Internet has however changed this, and social media have become a crucial tool in industrial marketing. Even though the usage of social media is growing in industrial markets, it is still uncertain how industrial companies can use social media in marketing.

    The purpose of this study is to explain how industrial companies can use social media. The study is defined to how eight swedish industrial companies use social media, including users, target groups and platforms. Eight interviews have been conducted with representatives from eight industrial companies, all of which are responsible for handling the social media.

    The results from the interviews show that industrial companies can use social media for lots of purposes, and not only marketing for customers. The collected data shows a huge variation in the different kinds of users that the companies use on social media, and also a variation in areas of use, platforms and target groups. The study also indicates that the traditional marketing could have a positive impact on the response in social media. This could mean that social media can be successfully used in combination with the traditional marketing. In all of the interviews it is clear that social media will have an increased importance for industrial marketing in the future.

    Ett av förskollärares uppdrag är att barnet tillsammans med sina föräldrar ska få en god inskolning i förskolans verksamhet. Syftet med vår studie är att bidra med ökad kunskap om några förskollärares erfarenheter av vilka faktorer som kan påverka inskolning. De frågeställningar vi använt är: Vilka faktorer krävs för en god inskolning i förskolans verksamhet enligt förskollärarna? Vilka för- och nackdelar beskriver förskollärarna finns bland olika inskolningsmetoder? Den metod som använts i vår studie är kvalitativa intervjuer där vi har intervjuat fem stycken förskollärare. Materialet har tolkats och analyserats med inspiration från anknytningsteorin och systemteorins utvecklingsekologiska modell.

    Studiens resultat belyser vikten av att skapa trygga och tillitsfulla relationer med barnen och deras föräldrar vid inskolning. För att det ska bli en god inskolning menar förskollärarna att de behöver samarbeta väl med hemmet. Förskollärarna beskriver att det under inskolningen är viktigt att föräldrarna får en inblick i förskolans verksamhet och att de förmedlar ett lyhört och varmt förhållningssätt, för att trygga relationer ska kunna skapas. Vidare menar förskollärarna att det som ytterligare kan avgöra hur inskolningen går är hur den planeras och organiseras. Det framkommer att förskollärarna behöver ta hänsyn till föräldrars synpunkter, barngruppens storlek, det enskilda barnets uttryckta behov samt sjukdom och mötestider.

    Syftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka vad specialidrottslärare uppfattar som viktiga faktorer, i deras roll och arbete, för att eleverna långsiktigt ska upprätthålla motivationen till sin idrottssatsning. I studien intervjuades fyra specialidrottslärare från en gymnasieskola i Sverige. För att bearbeta transkriberingarna av intervjuerna användes innehållsanalys som metod.

    Resultatet i denna studie lyfter fram faktorer som att se varje individ, elevens utveckling med individuella samtal, medvetandegörande, målsättningsarbete och elevers inflytande samt acceptans till elevers vilja och deras belastning, som viktiga i specialidrottslärares roll och arbete, för att eleverna långsiktigt ska upprätthålla motivationen till sin idrottssatsning.

    Slusatsen i denna studie är att resultatet, likt tidigare forskning, är kopplat till de tre psykologiska behoven kompetens, autonomi och samhörighet, samt motivationsklimat och målorientering. Det som studien bidrar med till forskningsområdet är att resultatet ger praktiska exempel på vad specialidrottslärare, men även tränare, kan göra och tänka på för att arbeta främjande för elevers motivation.

    I denna studie presenteras en undersökning av vilka utmaningar den nyexaminerade läraren kan stöta på vid planering och utförande av undervisning i närmiljö i so-ämnena. Genom en kvalitativ intervjustudie har data samlats in och tolkats med hjälp av Etienne Wengers teori Community of practice. Studiens resultat pekar på att de åsikter som lärare har innan de slutar sina högskolestudier påverkar hur de vill undervisa när de väl börjar arbeta ute i skolan. Studien pekar också på att de förutsättningar som lärare har påverkar deras sätt att arbeta. En del lärare i studien beskriver att de har väldigt små förutsättningar att bedriva so-undervisning i närmiljö på grund av att elevernas säkerhet står på spel. Däremot ändras inte den nyexaminerade lärarens åsikter om hur läraren vill undervisa bara för att läraren i dagsläget inte kan undervisa på det sätt som hon eller han vill.

    Närmiljö är ett begrepp som tas upp ofta i läroplanen men vad egentligen innebär det att undervisningen ska utgå ifrån närmiljön. Syftet med den här studien är att svara på frågan ”Vilka argument talar för respektive emot att använda närområde som undervisningsmiljö, i de samhällsorienterade ämnena?”. Studiens frågeställningar har besvarats med hjälp av en allmän litteraturstudie där vetenskaplig litteratur har granskats och analyserats. Sökningar efter relevant3litteratur har genomförts via databaser som Diva, Libris, Summon och Eric. Utöver det har manuell sökning tillämpats utifrån litteraturförteckningar.Resultatet av undersökningen visar att det finns flera fördelar att använda sig av närområdet i undervisningen. I samhället brukar det ofta finnas museer eller andra historiska platser med utbildad personal som kan vara till stor hjälp. Att även låta eleverna se hur det ser ut utanför skolan kan bidra dels till elevernas personliga utveckling men även till kunskapsutveckling

    Background & problem: For the financial year of 2014 companies are forced to implement one of BFN’s new accounting regulations. These accounting regulations are: K1, K2, K3 and K4. We have chosen to focus on the mid-sized companies that fall within the framework of K2. These may choose to report either in accordance with K2 or in accordance with K3. The primary difference between these regulations is that K2 is rulesbased while K3 is principlesbased. A principlesbased framework is built on individual interpretations and assessments while the rulesbased framwork is covered by detailed rules. We have, because of this reason, submitted the following questions:

     What are the determinants that have influenced the choice between K2 and K3?

     What choice has Sweden’s medium-sized companies made with regards to K2 and K3?

    Purpose: To explain which determinants that affects the choice between K2 and K3.

    Method: In an attempt to try and answer the problem the authors have used a quantitative method with a deductive approach and secondary data from corporate financial annual reports have been gathered. We did hypothesis tests with the help of confidence intervals to see if the variables firm size, debt ratio, the amount of long-term debt and the industry affiliation was able to explain the choice between K2 and K3.

    Result & conclusion: The results of our study show that the factor that affects the accounting choice is industry affiliation. The outcome of the survey was not as we had expected when only one of our four hypotheses could be accepted. We think that a reason for this might be the limited sample of the study. The study has focused only on the variables of corporate annual reports. One can imagine that there are additional factors that influence companies' choices such as bonus plans.

    Abstract [en]

    The purpose of this study was to increase understanding of the role of the site manager in small and medium-sized construction companies from a sustainability perspective. We have investigated which areas of responsibility and internal support a site manager can have, how the psychosocial work environment for the site manager is and what competences and experiences are requested from a site manager. Furthermore, we have investigated whether there is strategic competence supply of site managers.

    The results show that small and medium-sized construction companies in Dalarna find it difficult to recruit site managers and in the case of recruitment, they preferably seek candidates with experience of being a site manager. Furthermore, they protect their current corporate culture. The responsibilities for a site manager are many, however, internal support is available. Several of the construction companies find the psychosocial work environment difficult to handle. Additionally, each of the respondents identify that the greatest health risk for a site manager is currently stress.

    The method used was qualitative and the empirical material was collected through semi structured interviews. Five respondents participated in the study and all held corporate leading positions in their respective companies, with good knowledge of the role of the site manager. The empirical material was analyzed and discussed based on previous research and theories.

    The conclusion of this study is that the role of the site manager is not maintained from a sustainable perspective, as the demands on the already existing site managers increase whilst new abilities doesn’t get access to the role due to lack of experience.

    Retail business is expected to face a major challenge in the coming years. This is because digitalization is growing rapidly, and e-commerce is increasingly competing against traditional stores. It requires innovative thinking of companies to be competitive.

    To meet the challenge, I mean that impulse purchases can be used as a competitive advantage for retail companies. This study has therefore taken its starting point in the phenomenon impulse purchases.

    The study focuses on a female perspective since women are more inclined to execute impulse purchases.

    The purpose was to contribute to increased knowledge of the factors that may be crucial when Swedish women do impulse purchases. The study's empirical gathering consisted of a group interview and three individual interviews. These interviews were based on an analysis model developed by the study's literature review.

    In summary, three factors from the study's analysis model that could be shown to be influential in impulse purchases

    . These are shopping environments, offers and companies while shopping. Even additional sale and age have been shown to be significant for impulse purchases.

    Abstract [en]

    This article describes and discusses a group of newly trained vocational teachers’ experiences of outcomes of their teacher education in terms of professional skills. Seven students participated in focus group discussions concerning one of the professional teacher training national objectives. The results show that the newly trained vocational teachers acquired a new vision of the teaching profession and that they have strengthened both their professional identity and their self-confidence. They have new, broader and more improved tools to use in teaching, and they see the importance of having a vocational teacher education. Skills that are considered important in the new vocational teachers’ profession are for example to able to see the individual students and reach out to them with his message, and to make just assessments and set fair grades.

    Background: January 1st 2014 a new accounting framework was introduced, known as “K-regelverket”. The framework contains four categories, K1, K2, K3, and K4. Small companies can choose to follow either the K2 or the K3 framework. When choosing between K2 and K3, small companies often request advice from auditors.Purpose: The purpose of this study is to understand and to explain what factors that are influencing the auditor´s recommendations to small companies in their choices between K2 and K3, and to explore and describe the auditor´s role in these choices.Method: The qualitative method of semi-structured interviews has been applied with auditors from PwC, Grant Thornton and LR revision. The study has had a deductive approach.Results: The study shows that the auditor plays a decisive role in the choice between K2 and K3 for small companies. The auditor’s recommendation to small companies in the choice between K2 and K3 is influenced by several factors. The factors identified are the company’s balance sheet items, company’s size, stakeholders, line of business and phase. The company’s balance sheet items and size has the greatest impact on the auditor’s recommendation.

    Abstract [en]

    By 2017, the Swedish Agency for Education has taken a further step towards developing students' digital skills. According to the Swedish Agency for Education, the education of the students is done through the learning of the use of digital tools. In order to facilitate learning, the Swedish Agency for Education emphasizes the need to work formatively and that the formative work should facilitate the student's development. This study shows the steps that can be taken to achieve the demands of the National Agency on Digital Competencies, based on research conducted by American writer Dylan Wiliam. This author, in practice, translates the formative work with five strategies. In order to understand how these strategies are used by digital tools, this study shows some selected computer programs and websites by a Swedish teacher and author, Patricia Díaz, related to the mentioned strategies. The study is also based on two questionnaires, one aimed at teachers and one for students, where information has been gathered on how, among other things, formal work in the subject of Spanish can be translated into practice through various digital tools. The study also shows whether the formative work in the subject of Spanish meets the new Swedish Agency for Education digital competence requirements and if it is clear for teachers and students that the digital work in Spanish is formative.

    The aim of this study is to explain how professional female athletes experience gender

    differences in sponsorship, and if these differences have had any effects on their performance.

    This study is based on seven interviews with Swedish women who are active on a world class

    level in their chosen sports. The theoretical frame of this study is founded on the concepts of

    gender, social role theory, homologous reproduction theory, congruity theory and social

    identity theory, which can describe why a sponsor prefers to sponsor male athletes rather than

    female athletes.

    The results show that professional female athletes experience differences in how sponsors use

    them related to marketing. Women experience that sponsors prefer male over women

    characteristics and therefore support the male athlete more, thus resulting in a gender inequity.

    Women in general find it difficult to talk about their experiences regarding sponsorship and

    they avoid questioning sponsors regarding the differences experienced.

    The conclusion, is that the

    hegemonic masculinity, related to gender theory can be recognized

    within sponsorship and as long as athlete women are afraid to speak up and express this, the

    differences will never be acknowledged.

    Abstract [en]

    The effect of Swedish regional investment grants during 1990-1999 on firm performance, in terms of returns on equity and number of employees, were studied using a propensity-score matching-method to control for sample selection. Firms that received grants did not perform better in terms of returns on equity when compared to matched firms in the control group. In most years, recipient firms also did not hire more employees. The results thus cast doubt on the use of regional investment grants as a general policy instrument to improve firm performance.

    Det här kapitlet handlar om hur kön och andra sociala kategorier som t.ex. klass, ålder, etnicitet, religiös tillhörighet och sexualitet, påverkar processerna som skapar psykosomatiska problem, liksom för vägen till tillfrisknande. De nu mest tongivande teorierna beskrivs, liksom de specifika utmaningar forskare inom detta område möter, samt framtida forsknings- och utvecklingsområden. Exempelvis saknas konsensus för hur psykosomatiska tillstånd ska dokumenteras och klassificeras vilket medför svårigheter i att beräkna förekomsten av tillstånden, och därmed även att exempelvis göra hälsoekonomiska analyser.     Det saknas ofta ett genusperspektiv när man ska fördela samhälleliga resurser och besluta om investeringar. En viktig fråga är därför hur vi kan integrera ett genusperspektiv när vi synar samhällsekonomin och de offentliga budgetarna. I detta kapitel kommer vi att ge exempel på hur en verksamhet kan genomföra genusmedvetna budgetanalyser. Vår budgetanalys bygger på insamlad statistik från två förvaltningar i Botkyrka kommun under 2008, 2009 och 2010. Det är omsorg- och serviceinsatser till äldre samt kultur- och fritidsverksamhet. Förutom att beskriva analysens olika steg visar vi vilka resultaten kan bli och hur man kan tänka kring förändring av den ojämställdhet som framkommer.

    Abstract [en]

    The aim of this thesis is to contribute to deeper knowledge about the writing practices of teachers in upper secondary school. Schools are under constant pressure to respond to the needs and expectations of an ever-changing society and political intentions. A major factor in this change which is taking place in schools is digitalization. Another factor is the adoption of new governing principles for schools involving management by goals and results, which brings increased demands for written documentation of teachers' work.

    In order to describe and problematize this development the thesis is based on a combination of Critical Discourse Analysis and New Literacy (Clark and Ivanič, 1997). The theoretical framework rests upon an understanding of writing as social action and the idea that texts both affect and are affected by the social environment. The empirical study focuses on twelve teachers and their writing practices, analyzed during week-long field visits over three years. The teachers' talk about their writing is used together with analyses of texts and images to investigate parts of teachers' writing which, according to the teachers, are considered complex and problematic.

    The findings indicate significant differences between the writing practices of the individual teachers, where each teacher has his or her own system of texts fulfilling different purposes. Despite these differences it is still possible to identify recurrent themes in the discursive conditions for teachers' writing: efficiency, reuse, authority, audit, relationships to addressees, and room to maneuver. The study illustrates possible dilemmas for teachers' writing at the intersection of teachers' professional responsibility and demands for accountability.

    Demands on the scientific foundation of Swedish Vocational Teacher Education has led to a development project on academic competence at Dalarna University in 2018. The project contained two sub-projects; the construction of a matrix, to display the progression of students’academic competence; and the implementation of a series of seminars on VET research. This article presents the point of departure and the methods used, together with the results of mappings and analysis of four different aspects of academic competence. This inventory of features of academic competence in teacher education, evokes a wide range of questions onthe meaning and consequence of scientific foundation, the research-practice relationship and concrete questions concerning course content.

    Seasonality is a common phenomenon in the tourism industry around the world. Húsavík, a town on the northern coast of Iceland, has experienced tremendous growth in tourism in recent years and is sometimes recognised as the „Whale Watching Capital of Europe‟. However, Húsavík faces extreme seasonality with high demand mainly during the summer months and limited or no demand at other times of the year. As is emphasised in the tourism literature and widely in practice, seasonality is frequently seen as a problem for the tourism industry which has to be tackled. Academic research has never before been done on seasonality in Húsavík and the aim of this thesis is to understand the nature of seasonality within the tourism industry in Húsavík and discover potential ways to reduce seasonality in Húsavík tourism. In order to fulfil the aim, qualitative semi-structured interviews were undertaken with six tourism managers in Húsavík to investigate their perceptions of seasonality and if and how it could be managed. The results confirmed that the peripheral location of the destination stimulates seasonality and it poses major economic challenges for tourism businesses in Húsavík. Managers would prefer a longer tourism season. Several recommendations were provided for how to reduce seasonality such as develop other attractions than whale watching, improve accessibility, focus marketing on seasons outside the summer, and offer winter packages for foreign and domestic tourists.

    Abstract [en]

    This study aims to investigate how the relationship between a football player and a sports agent function and look like in Sweden and how it possibly could be improved. The relationship between a football player and a sports agent is a central and important part in the world of football, a part which does not get the right amount of attention. Previous research in this field is also difficult to access, which is why this study is made. The study is of a qualitative nature in which semi-structured interviews were designed to obtain empirical data material. The relationship between said parties is based on a mutual trust where the sports agent’s purpose is to handle the administrative matters as contract negotiations, while the football player’s main focus is to perform in his sport/football games. The power in the relationship is relatively evenly distributed. The sports agent has a central role regarding the administrative matters, on the other hand it is the football player who makes the final decision because it can have an impact on his life and career.  Conflicts of interest are something that can arise in the relationship between the football player and the sports agent, a conflict of interest which could be based on various reasons, such as financial conflicts or conflicts based on a lack of time and availability for their client (football player) because of the number of clients that the sports agent represents. In order to possibly improve the relationship between the football player and the sports agent, relationship marketing and its basic concept can be applicable. A concept that implies that one party involves the other and has the other partner in mind in the event of situations and where it’s an even distribution of the decision making in the relationship.

    Abstract [en]

    To achieve a good work environment, the employer and the employee jointly cooperate under the Work Environment Act. This study has been performed in an industrial company with a view to examining the working environment and occupational injuries differs between men and women. In order to achieve a credible and reliable result, three different methods were used, such as interviews, participant observation and information from the company's IA system. The result shows that there are equally large differences between women and men today as it did a few years ago. Something else that was discovered was that there are many unreported when it comes to reporting the safety conversations, incidents and accidents in the company's IA sys-tem. After analyzing the collected empirical material was concluded that women do not get injuries easily than men, but it depends on the culture, norms and values in the industry. The company is working in the right way in terms of safety, equipment, ergonomics and more, still short right up to the employees. Culture, norms and values affect both working conditions and working environment, and for the success of their work environment, the company must be able to turn this around.

    Paradigm war and peace: argumentation analysis as a basis for integration

    This article shows that argumentation theory can serve as a fruitful methodological basis for empirical research in social science. Choosing this methodological perspective makes it possible to integrate criticism and methods, deriving from opposing positions in the so called paradigm wars, into a rational discourse. This is illustrated by means of an example of social work research concerning traumatic experiences and distinct phases in the process of recovery.

    The problem of how to relate to previous research in the research process is severe when normal science has not been established, e.g. as in the case of sociology and as in certain fields of inter-disciplinary research. Yet, this problem has been more or less neglected in methodological textbooks. Under non-normal circumstances the reasoning is often very complex and it may be difficult to determine which literature is relevant to relate to and how this should be done. Thus, an explicit and systematic strategy is needed to make the problem more comprehensible. It is argued that argument analysis (cf. critical thinking) can serve this purpose. In addition, a hypothesis concerning the importance of the cognitive dimension in soft sciences is outlined.

    This study has the purpose of examining if there is an answer to the question

    When is HR needed? The material in this study is based on five semi-structured interviews and two group interviews with people which are working with HR-related duties within small and medium-sized organizations in Dalarna county. The theoretical frame of reference in this study discusses the following areas: HR/HRM, strategic HRM, HR in small and medium-sized organizations, leadership, communication and Employer Brand. The reasoning behind choosing several different areas is that the main area of the study looks to be relatively unexplored, thus is the theoretical frame of reference shaped out of areas which are considered to have an impact on the question When is HR needed? The result of this study shows that there probably is no concrete answer to this question. What the results do show is that there are several areas which have an impact on the question and which are recurrent with all the interviewed organizations. These are: economics, communication, support from outside the company, stress on managers with a particular focus on labor law, and the organizations’ capacity to attract workforce. The result of the study has ultimately been compiled into a model which has the purpose of functioning as a form of checklist that organizations can use to help them appraise if they should consider establishing an HR-function.

    This paper focuses on the evaluation of a rural event, both from a social perspective evaluating the event and the tourist and visitors it attracts and from an economic perspective. Given the modern situation of rural destinations and its shifting economy, the importance of turning towards event tourism becomes paramount. The research presents the case of the Classic Car Week, a rural festival held during week 31 in Rättvik, in the region of Dalarna, Sweden. The study is based on surveys collected during the 2016 edition. The authors analyzed the data and extrapolated statistical information to gather knowledge on the average visitor and its interests. The social focused tourism and event section of the research revolves around Crompton’s instrument of motivator measurement to establish the pull factors which attract visitors to the event. This is done by analyzing their expectation, satisfaction and decision-making. The economic analysis of the study presents the calculations made by the authors on the total estimat accomodation expenses based on guest nights in Rättvik (35000) during week leading up to the event and during CCW, week 30 and 31. A estimated max and minimum senario was made were the calculated max accomodation expenses was 7 031 793 SEK while the minimum was estimated to 4 714 177 SEK. Similarly, a max and min scenario was also calculated on the estimated total daily expenses, resulting in a max approximation of 7 087 107 and a min of 4 746 521. Together the estimated max and min accommodation and daily expenses was summed to create a max and min scenario of the total spending in the area. With a max scenario of 14 118 900 SEK and a minimum scenario of 9 460 698 SEK. Illustrating a part of the economical impact that he municipality receives as a direct result of the event.

    Total Physical Response, TPR 1, är en inlärningsmetod som bygger på att läraren förmedlar instruktioner på engelska genom aktiviteter där rörelser, lekar, sång eller bilder ingår. Eleverna visar gensvar genom att uttrycka förståelse där kroppsspråket används i form av gester, miner och andra rörelser. Tidigare utländsk forskning indikerar positiv effekt vid användning av TPR i engelskundervisningen därav har ett intresse hos mig väckts för TPR som forskningsområde.

    Syftet med studien är att undersöka tillämpningen av TPR-metoden i engelskundervisning inom årskurser 1–3. Frågeställningarna är:

     Hur definierar engelsklärare i studien TPR-metoden?

     På vilket sätt appliceras TPR i undervisningen inom årskurserna 1–3 enligt engelsklärare i studien?

     I vilken omfattning beskriver studiens engelsklärare användningen av TPR-metoden i undervisningen inom årskurserna 1–3?

    Studien utgörs av sju halvstrukturerade intervjuer med verksamma engelsklärare inom årskurserna 1–3 i två kommuner i Svealand.

    I resultatet framkom det att flera av lärarna i studien saknade vetskap om TPR-metoden men trots det använder sig utav aktiviteter som innefattar rörelser, lekar, sång eller bilder i engelskundervisningen. Hur lärarna applicerar TPR i undervisningen diskuteras utifrån valda teoretiska perspektiv där bland annat filosofen John Deweys uttryckssätt learning by doing använts.

    För att barn ska kunna utveckla en språklig förmåga krävs det att läraren förser eleverna med en undervisning där tillvägagångssättet innefattar de rätta verktygen. Ett av undervisningssättet är att tillämpa TPR- metoden. TPR, står för Total Physical Response och är en metod som bygger på att läraren förmedlar instruktioner på engelska och eleverna visar förståelse genom att använda kroppsspråket i form av gester, miner och andra rörelser. Syftet med den här litteraturstudien är att undersöka vad det finns för tidigare forskning hur TPR, total physical response, kan länkas ihop med språkinlärning, lärares attityd till att använda TPR- metoden samt hur metoden kan stödja elever i lärandet i engelska som andraspråk inom årskurs F-3. Resultatet i litteraturstudien har skett systematiskt vilket innebär en tolkning av vad tidigare forskare har kommit fram till. Det som upptäckts genom analysen är indikationer om positiv effekt av tillämpning av TPR-metoden och att metoden nyttjas bäst när fler kombinationer av aktiviteter som berör TPR får utövas samtidigt. Med hänsyn till examensarbetets resultat kan förslag över vidare forskning handla om elevers reaktioner om tillämpning av TPR- metoden i engelskundervisningen.

    Many children in society live in families where one or both parents have drug-addiction prob- lems. Early life conditions for these children may result in a need of support, which may be a requirement for a more favourable psycho-social development. The study purpose was to in- vestigate social worker’s experience of work with children with drug addiction problems in their primary family, based on the criticism of social service assistance. The study was based on a qualitative approach with semi-structured interviews. Six social workers in central Swe- den were interviewed about their experience of structural and individual preconditions and difficulties in the work. The study shows that the majority of the difficulties are experienced on the structural level within the organization while the majority of the preconditions are ex- perienced on the individual level. The structural difficulties are not experienced to affect the respondent’s own individual preconditions in their work and neither the feeling that they in their profession are able to do a good job. In addition, all the respondents feel that the support for the children and young people meet the current needs.

    The purpose of this paper is to analyze the possible wage and employment effects generated by the reintroduction of the ROT-deduction in 2008. The reintroduction was seen as a permanent measure, and the aim was to counteract undeclared work and to stimulate and increase the building in Sweden. With this paper, we want to evaluate the wage and employment effects that the ROT-deduction contributed to in Swedish construction companies, more specifically limited companies in the ROT industry. A difference-in-difference method will be used to analyze data collected from limited companies in Sweden, aggregated to industry level. Aggregation is made for our results to be directly comparable to previous studies, and to not exclude the effect caused by new companies in the ROT-industry that may have started due to the reform. The difference-in-difference method involves that a treated group consisting of the construction industries affected by the introduction of the ROT-deduction is compared to a control group consisting of other industries before and after the reform. Our results show that the average wage per employee is not affected by the reform, while the reform has increased the average number of employees in the ROT-industry.

    The study aims to study the cooperation between a social service and a residential care institution for unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and young people. The authors have conducted semi-structured interviews with social workers and residential care workers. The results has been analyzed from previous research and theoretical framework, which is about collaboration, communication and knowledge sharing. The result shows that they do not have an optimally functioning cooperation at the moment but they are working it out together. The result also shows that this is due to the increased number of unaccompanied asylum-seeking children who came to Sweden in 2015. This leads to both social service and residential care institution having a high workload and lack of time, which means that they have to prioritize urgent problems that arise.

    The school and the workplace often represent two different cultures in terms of what is valued as important skills and values. The role of vocational teachers in apprenticeship education is to ensure that apprentices are embedded in both these cultures. However, because of significant differences between the school and the workplace, this task poses a professional challenge and a potential for value conflicts. In this study we analyse interviews with vocational teachers in the apprenticeship training for the building and construction programme using concepts based in Pragmatism and Curriculum theory. Our ambition is to highlight values often upheld by unreflected habits, and discuss how these condition the work of the vocational teacher. The main results indicate the importance of recognizing that two different types of curricula seems to interact in the apprenticeship education; a workplace curriculum that emphasize, “work ethics” and a school curriculum that emphasizes students´ “safety”. These different curricula interact in specific ways through the work of the vocational teachers that can be described as a ‘balancing act’. How this ‘balancing act’ is done have significant consequences for what kind of education students are offered and what value conflicts that emerge.
