The Arab states of the middle east in the last four decades have experienced an upsurge in revenues mainly by help of their natural resources, and therefore increased their arms purchases. It is interesting to know how the human rights condition was during that period and if there are correlations between arms sales and level of human rights violations in these countries. With reviewing previous researches and by help of an analysis in this study, the data shows a connection between an increase of arms sales and human rights violation in 3 out of 5 cases in this research.
