I Colombia har organisationen MOVICE (Movimiento de Víctimas de Crímenes de Estado) spelat en viktig roll i kampen för övergångsrättvisa. Uppsatsen undersöker MOVICEs mobiliseringsstrategier genom att göra en framinganalys på rörelsens inlägg på Instagram och Facebook under november 2024. Genom en framinganalys har användandet av diagnostiska, prognostiska och motiverande frames undersökts för att förstå till vilken utsträckning framing har använts. Genom utförandet av en framinganalys på en social rörelse i en övergångsprocess har en ökad förståelse uppnåtts om arbetsmetoderna för en social rörelse i den specifika kontexten. Uppsatsen visade att framinganvändandet var stort och att MOVICE fyller en viktig roll i civilsamhället i arbetet för övergångsrättvisa.
In Colombia, the organization MOVICE (Movimiento de Víctimas de Crímenes de Estado) has played an important role in the struggle for transitional justice. This paper examines MOVICE's mobilization strategies by conducting a framing analysis on the movement's posts on Instagram and Facebook during November 2024. Through a framing analysis, the use of diagnostic, prognostic, and motivational frames has been examined to understand to what extent framing was used. By conducting a framing analysis on a social movement in a transitional process, an increased understanding has been given about the working methods of a social movement in that specific context. The paper showed that the use of framing was high and that MOVICE plays an important role in civil society in the work for transitional justice.
