This study examines how teachers in grade 7-9 address multicultural inclusion in religious education. The research explores the strategies employed by the teachers, the challenges they encountered and the methods they used to overcome these challenges. The data was collected through semi-structured interviews and subjected to content analysis. The data was analyzed through the frameworks of sociocultural perspectives and intercultural pedagogy, as well as previous scholarly research. The results indicate that teachers implement various methods to foster understanding and respect for diverse beliefs, including discussions and group activities. Challenges such as discriminatory remarks and conflicts are managed through adaptive teaching strategies and preventive measures. The study concludes the significance of multicultural inclusion in religious education for promoting an inclusive and respectful learning environment.
