Abstract [sv]

Denna studie undersöker rekryterares upplevelser av att använda artificiell intelligens (AI) i rekryteringsprocesser. Genom en kvalitativ metod med semistrukturerade intervjuer har åtta rekryterare från både privat och offentlig sektor delat sina erfarenheter. Studien identifierar både möjligheter och utmaningar med AI i rekrytering. AI kan effektivisera processen genom att automatisera rutinuppgifter, standardisera urval och minska omedvetna bias. Detta frigör tid för rekryterare att fokusera på strategiska och kvalitativa delar av arbetet. Samtidigt finns det utmaningar som en opersonlig ton, risk för bias i träningsdata och motstånd från personalen. Studien betonar vikten av en balanserad användning av AI, där tekniken kompletterar mänsklig bedömning för att säkerställa rättvisa och kvalitet i rekryteringsprocessen.

Abstract [en]

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly impacted various sectors, including recruitment. This study aims to explore recruiters' experiences of using AI in recruitment processes. Through qualitative research involving semi-structured interviews with eight recruiters from both private and public organizations, the study identifies the opportunities and challenges associated with using AI in recruitment. AI can enhance efficiency by automating routine tasks, standardizing selection processes, and reducing unconscious bias, thereby allowing recruiters to focus on strategic and qualitative aspects of their work. However, challenges such as an impersonal tone, the risk of bias in training data, and resistance against AI from staff are also highlighted. The study underscores the importance of a balanced approach to AI, where technology complements human judgment to ensure fairness and quality in the process of recruitment.
